Las fiestas de las Cruces son una celebracion tradicional en los pueblos de la sierra peruana, en estas fiestas los devotos o fieles de la cruz del distrito o comunidad se organizan con el fin de ofrecer un determinado donativo con la esperanza de que la Cruz devuelva esto con algun favor especial, salud, trabajo, familia, etc. Estos donativos son administrados por un Mayordomo, el cual se encarga de organizar todo para que todos los devotos y visitantes en general disfruten de esos dias de fiesta. 

Esta celebracion tambien es caracteristica en mi querido distrito, Ricardo Palma, el mayordomo este año fue mi tío Angel Sanchez, y la persona que cojerá la mayordomía para el año siguiente sera mi madre. a continuacion algunas imagenes de la fiesta de este año.
